Tuition and Fees
At Newstead Christian School our aim is to make fees as simple, effective and affordable as we can. In the fees we include all resources needed for the class, yearly local camp fees, school transport costs for excursions, camps and school trips (not home to school or school to home), entry fees to curriculum related activities (unless advised), and all High School electives.
Additional Costs and Considerations
There will be some additional costs, such as anything not compulsory to the curriculum. These include, but are not limited to, transport to and from school, school uniforms, materials for major projects, student assessments (where required) in our Learning Support and special extra curriculum items, e.g. Science Challenge, special excursions, High School mainland or OS trips and school photos.
School fees 2025
Once Off Fees
* Family Bond of $1,000 per family charged once per family upon the first enrolment.
* Application Fee of $50 per family Enrolment Application. This is refunded if the application is successful, forfeited if the application is unsuccessful.
Recurrent Fees
* Kinder Student per annum $2,800
* Primary Student (Grades P – 3) per annum $4,390
* Primary Student (Grades 4 – 6) per annum $4,830
* High School Student (Grades 7 – 8) per annum $5,730
* High School Student (Grades 9-10) per annum $6,100
Sibling Subsidies
For families with one or more students concurrently enrolled, we offer the following subsidies:
* 2nd student in the family receives a 50% subsidy.
* 3rd student in the family receives a 75% subsidy.
* 4th (and each further) students in the family receive 85% subsidy.
Understanding the Fee Payment Process at NCS
Fees as a Contract.
By signing the Enrolment Contract, a parent or guardian has entered into a legal and binding contract with Newstead Christian School for schooling of your child(ren) at the agreed fee schedule.
This means The School has the right to full collection of fees when due and payable.
What are the Fees of the School?
Enrolment Application Fee of $50, charged per family enrolment application (we refund this if the enrolment is successful).
Family bond of $1,000 is charged once per family upon enrolment of your child. This is kept as a bond and refunded to you when your last child leaves the school and all payments due are up to date.
No Child may start school until the family bond has been paid.
Tuition fees will be invoiced for the upcoming year per family before the first week of term 1 beginning February.
Fees may be paid:
- per year, (within 14 days of the fee invoice);
- per term (within 14 days of the beginning of each term) or
- weekly or fortnightly regular payments.
Other School purchases such as uniforms or excursions may be put on a family account with payment due in 14 days, or paid at the time of purchase.
School fees are invoiced and collected through the FACTS portal by Direct Debit or Credit Card. Upon enrolment you will receive an invitation to create FACTS login.
